Cancellation & Refunds Policy

This Cancellation & Refunds Policy explains how subscription billing, cancellation, refunds, and failed payments work on KaryaClaw, the AI agent platform operated by Karya, a partnership firm registered in India having its principal place of business at C4/94, Safdarjung Development Area, Delhi 110016, India ("Karya", "we", "us", "our"). It summarises and should be read together with the KaryaClaw Terms of Service (in particular Sections 4, 5, and 15) and the Privacy Policy. If this summary and the Terms of Service conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.
1. Scope of This Policy
KaryaClaw is a digital Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product. Each subscription provisions a dedicated, isolated agent environment (an "Instance") for the subscriber. This Policy applies to all paid subscriptions purchased through the Platform and covers cancellation, refunds, renewal payments, and what happens to your Instance when a subscription ends.
2. Subscriptions and Billing
- Access is provided on a per-Instance subscription basis. The standard subscription fee is INR 20,000 (Rupees Twenty Thousand) per Instance per month, exclusive of applicable taxes, billed in advance.
- Billing cycles are as offered at checkout (for example monthly, two-monthly, or annual). The amount and cycle are displayed before you confirm payment.
- New subscribers may be eligible for a discounted first billing period, as advertised at the time of sign-up. Any discounted rate applies to the first billing cycle only; subsequent cycles are billed at the standard rate.
- Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your card details.
4. Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time, yourself, from the Billing page of your dashboard — no calls or emails required. You may also request cancellation by writing to support@the-karya.com.
- Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You retain full access to your Instance until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- We do not charge any cancellation fee.
- After your paid period ends, your Instance is paused and preserved for a 7-day reactivation window, after which it is permanently deleted (see Section 6). Your account itself remains, and you may re-subscribe at any time.
5. Refunds
Payments are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial or unused billing periods, for change of mind, or for promotional or discounted payments. When you cancel, you keep what you paid for: access continues until the end of the current billing cycle, and no further charges are made. This no-refund policy applies except where a refund is required by mandatory applicable law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
Billing errors. If you believe a charge was made in error — for example a duplicate charge, or a charge made after you had validly completed cancellation — contact us at support@the-karya.com. We will investigate and correct verified billing errors, including by refund where appropriate.
Where a refund is issued under this Policy or applicable law, it is made to the original payment method via Razorpay. The time taken for a refund to reflect depends on your bank or payment provider.
6. Failed Payments and Account Lapse
- If a renewal payment fails, is not approved, or is not received, you retain access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- After that, your Instance is paused — your agent and its data are preserved intact for a reactivation window of seven (7) days.
- If you complete the outstanding payment (or re-subscribe) within this window, your Instance resumes with its state intact.
- After the window expires, the Instance and the data stored within it (including agent memory) are permanently deleted. Your account remains, and you may re-subscribe at any time — a fresh Instance will be provisioned.
7. Service Delivery (No Shipping)
KaryaClaw is delivered entirely online; nothing is physically shipped. Your Instance is provisioned automatically after your first successful payment, typically within minutes. If your Instance is not active within 24 hours of a successful payment, contact us at support@the-karya.com and we will investigate and resolve the provisioning failure.

We aim to acknowledge complaints within forty-eight (48) hours and resolve them within one (1) month of receipt, consistent with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Nothing in this Policy limits any right available to you under mandatory applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, where it applies.
